Benchwright was inspired by an early 20th-century worktable that belonged to one of our designer’s great-grandfathers. Its rustic wood frame features handcrafted details like mortice-and-tenon joinery, giving it a strength and simplicity we love.
- Expertly crafted from forged iron and from thick planks of meticulously weathered and distressed hardwood, poplar veneers and MDF.
- Due to the nature of planked wood, the table may have small spaces between the panels.
- MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time.
- The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent colour tones that will not be subject to cracking.
- Finished in Reclaimed Pine by hand using our exclusive multi-step process; an innovative, exclusive process that makes each piece unique.
- Table features a metal turnbuckle tabletop support rod; 1 straight rod for 188 cm x 102 cm.
- Unique breadboard extensions hold drop-in leaves.
- Adjustable levellers to add stability on uneven floors.

- To protect finish, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners, dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Always use coasters, pads, cloth or felt to protect furniture surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive temperatures.
- Hardware may loosen over time; periodically check to ensure that all connections are tight and re-tighten if necessary.
ASSEMBLY
- Home Delivery + Assembly Service: Items are delivered to your room of choice by appointment, then unpacked and fully assembled by a skilled two-person team. Includes packaging removal and recycling. Fee varies by location and order total.

We offer three types of delivery (Standard, Home Delivery, Home Delivery & Assembly) determined by the products in your order. A product’s delivery type is displayed under the "Stock Status" information on each product page online. Delivery charges are determined by your delivery destination and are charged per order. Multiple–product orders are charged according to the product with the highest delivery type. Sometimes products may arrive separately but you will only be charged one delivery fee per order.
